Uptown's 80th annual parade moves to the night before Thanksgiving this year, with balloons, floats and bands along Tryon Street.

The parade runs along N Tryon St from 9th St, and spectators line Tryon from 9th St to MLK Jr Blvd. It's free to watch; VIP bleacher seats are $40 (2 and under free on a lap). Bring chairs. Rain or shine.
The LYNX Blue Line and Gold Line both serve the route, and WCCB airs it live at 6 PM. Road closure times haven't been published.
